An Open Letter to Women

Dear woman,

You may be forgotten. You may be hurt and betrayed. You may be thrown away.

You may be loved, but you may be left alone. For we are human, we will never be satisfied. 

You will leave your home, your city, your country. You will walk alone, lonely, and even lonelier. You may travel far and still be fine. You may fall for stranger you meet along your way in a road trip; or  in a travel section in your favorite bookstore. But you know your heart will not move anywhere, you left your heart somewhere.

There will be rain, storm, and thunder. There will be winter and summer. Your presence is just like the northern lights; mysterious, cold, and shimmering. You are a peak of the mountain; high and splendid. You are an edelweiss; immortal and tough. Keep in mind that only certain people who are willing to walk along just to reach you. 

You are the source, you are a ganglion. You are connected to the whole system. You are a humble wanderer that you will always find your way back home. 

Of you we will learn the source of living, the perks of wandering, and the beauty of waiting. We will learn that suffering is optional, you choose to be happy and smile. 

"Today is not my day", you whispered as the whole nation were celebrating the day of women.
"Take those 365 days because mine can be anywhere", you continued.

For that restless soul of yours and when you open this letter, remember that you may be a constellation in someone else's life.
