A Year

My life has been pretty much like an adult roller-coaster, moving on at constant pace, but I know it's absolutely going to risk my life with its killing speed at some point. It's been a year since I left Jakarta behind and through its ups and downs, I know I'm still alive. I told my mom that I'm planning to go back to Jakarta for a short vacation next year - just for a short as I need my support system back fulfilling my never ending black hole of missing my parents, before dealing with thesis and works.

"I can't wait until I see you, you, are still the same person, but now with tons of stories that have made you wiser and stronger." she said.

I am
I don't know what other life would've been like; all I know is now I'm having kind of life that I want. I got accepted by the company that I've been dreaming of to do my internship for the next six months which was actually beyond my expectation. So I will move out from Munich, rebuilding my other life in the new city, again. Now I feel more like I'm flipping through the tv channel with my own remote control, settling down is not my thing, at least at the moment.

1. December last year, I had a beautiful Christmas trip with my bestfriends that I honestly never thought that we could be traveling together in Europe. Well, it wasn't a white Christmas though..

2. I had a warm new year celebration with my second family here in Munich and I miss them (some of them have already left now)

3. I don't usually have extraordinary birthday and this year too, I didn't. But I had a really warm small birthday party with home-made cake and sushi while it was still snowing outside. And oh, I think I had my favorite birthday's present :)

4. Academic stuffs; one project, 2 big presentations, 4 final papers, and no retaking exams. That's enough I guess :p

5. Traveling to Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Norway, and Sweden in March.

6. Traveling to Berlin and watching Justin Timberlake live in concert in April

7. Finally taking Renewable Resources and Energy to be my concentration field which is my purpose of life and...more demanding assignments.

8. Traveling to Dresden in May with two silliest bestfriends

9. Almost-summer roadtrip to the lower Bavaria with classmates

10. Traveling to Czech; going to the holi-festival

11. I never thought that I would study my master in the country that would win the World Cup! So blessed to feel the euphoria

12. Academic stuffs; all went well, as per plan

13. Had a mood-booster reunion with old friends in Stuttgart

14. Celebrating Eid away from home for the first time. Not as bad as I thought, but still it wasn't as beautiful as usual

15. Got the internship that I want! and so, planning to go back to Indonesia for vacation next year right after completing my internship. Nasi padang here I come

16. Had a week full of laziness in the Netherlands :)))

17. My best friend, Waode Nurzara, already arrived here in Europe

But above all, the only blessing I couldn't thank enough to God is seeing my parents happy, healthy, and blessed. I can't wait to finally have them here around me in Europe :)

And I only can thank God for letting these ups and downs, thank to whoever in this universe responsible for creating the roller-coaster of mine,

and to the love I found here.

and still counting..
